Big Al tells DMac you either use it, or you lose it. The Rockies extend their losing streak, and Big Al says it’s unfortunate but they have another one tonight. Troy Renck joins the show. DMac asks Troy if there is now a book on the Rockies young pitchers, and Troy says all of their pitches have been elevated. Also, Von Miller comes in 2nd in the NFL Top 100 & how to shorten games up for entertainment in sports.

DMac goes to the gym with his son, and laughs about his basketball skills. The guys discuss working out, and late summer nights with the Rockies. DMac mentions the Rockies are looking for a streak-stopper & Jon Gray is set to return on Saturday. Von Miller ranks as the No. 2 overall player in the NFL Top 100 just behind Tom Brady, and the guys debate the general list. Troy Renck joins the show. DMac asks Troy if there is now a book on the Rockies young pitchers, and Troy says all of their pitches have been elevated. The guys debate if Von Miller is elite, and deserving of his No. 2 overall ranking in the NFL Top 100. Callers say Miller is getting paid to be as productive as he’s been, and Big Al says Vince Young got a raw deal. DMac wonders how Vince Young could afford his rock-n-roll lifestyle & why he can’t get a job in the NFL. Big Al highlights the relationship between Kubiak, Manning & Elway, and says Vance Joseph will be fired at some point. Also, DMac says the reason Tebow is getting promoted is purely economic.

DMac says there’s a better way to do things, and asks Al how to speed games up for sports fans’ entertainment. AL suggests a home-run derby, and DMac says if the games go three hours, forget it. The guys take calls on time limits in games, and DMac says nobody wants an 18-inning game. Also, the callers come to Big Al’s defense about a HR Derby to decide a late game, and LaVar Ball in the WWE trends up for DMac.
