The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE IN STUDIO!!! Cecil Lammey joins the show to talk fantasy, and his walk of shame on the King Soopers Fan Shame Game. Cecil says Case Keenum wanted to practice today, and the concern level is low concerning Keenum’s knee.
The guys discuss the Rockies game, and Big Al points out Arenado & LeMahieu went cold while DMac gives some credit to Charlie Blackmon after the LA Dodgers walk it off in extra innings. DMac is upset with third-base umpire Lance Barrett, and plays some audio from Cecil Lammey’s Shame Game to feel better.
In the Big 3, DMac asks Al what happens if Case Keenum can’t go on Sunday, and Big Al is disgusted with Maroon 5 being named to the 2019 Super Bowl Halftime Show. Mark Cuban will not face any more punishment following his allegations involving women in the workplace, and Big Al says it’s not enough unless Cuban has taken care of the women that were involved in the case. Also, Al talks about NFL Hall of Famers receiving health insurance benefits.
Al gives a report on the Ravens, and says the Broncos defense will have to be aware of Alex Collins. DMac fears John Brown’s speed, and the Ravens’ explosive playmakers. Al & DMac agree the Broncos will have to score at least 20 points if they hope to get a win on the road in Baltimore.
Al is afraid of getting burned by the Ravens’ big playmakers, like John Brown & Alex Collins, and tells DMac Justin Tucker might be Baltimore’s best player. Also, DMac agrees with Al that former Ravens LB and HOF’er Ray Lewis is not their favorite player, even if there was no weapon.
Cecil Lammey joins the show to talk fantasy, and his walk of shame on the King Soopers Fan Shame Game. Cecil says Case Keenum wanted to practice today, and the concern level is low concerning Keenum’s knee. Cecil prepares the listeners for Isaac Yiadom to see the field, and Big Al is concerned about PacMan Jones’ workload early in the season. Listen to the interview HERE!!!
DMac says we don’t want to see Case Keenum running around anymore, even if it is to win the game. Big Al says Keenum will be rested and things happen, and DMac can’t imagine if Keenum got hurt & Denver had to turn to a backup QB. Also, the boys take a look at the top teams in college football that use multiple QBs.
The guys take a look at the Rockies lineup against the Dodgers tonight, and DMac finds out how much experience Ian Desmond has at SS for the Rockies this year. Big Al wonders how it’s supposed to be comfortable playing with your hair on fire.
DMac takes a look at the Rockies’ remaining schedule, and Big Al pulls up the Dodgers. DMac says tonight’s game is huge, and Colorado can only afford to lose three more games the entire season. Also, DMac is done with DeMarcus Ware after seeing him on the Cowboys’ sideline & hearing that Ware will be on Dancing With the Stars.
DMac notes that it is National Pirate Day, and Big Al has a ton of questions for DeHuff. DMac says there is no scenario other than injury in which the Broncos bench Case Keenum, and Stokley’s argument doesn’t hold water.
Big Sexy hits the fellas with the concert calendar for Wednesday, and DMac thinks about checking out SLASH at the Fillmore. Also, Big Al & DMac take a look at the King Soopers Fan Pick ‘Em.
