Sandy and Stokley – 05/23/2016 – Ryan Edwards filling in for Sandy Clough along side Brandon Stokley. Today’s show the guys talked about Aaron Rodgers facing fan criticism and Mark Sanchez possibly missing day 1 of OTAs tomorrow. Ryan and Brandon also discuss NFL commissioner Roger Goodell suspending players as Tom Brady appeals his suspension as well as the leagues concussion protocol. Stokley and Edwards interviewed Chris Landry from LandryFootball.com in the third hour of the show. Aside from the NFL, the guys talk about the NBA and Draymond Green possibly being suspended.

Hour one begins with the guys talking about Draymond Green and discuss if his kick was intentional against Steven Adams in last night’s Western Conference Final game. Stokley calls him out for not having control of this body and the guys talk about his actions before the kick. They continue to talk about Green and his possible suspension.

Moving to the NFL the guys talk about Roger Goodell, the NFL commissioner. They discuss if the NFL has gone too far with Tom Brady as Brady once again appealed his four game suspension today. They talk about suspensions in the NFL and how Goodell overseas all of the suspensions and acts as judge and jury. The guys wrap up the hour talking about how long Deflate gate has now went on for and the NFL and their concussion policy as the NFL is once again facing scrutiny.

Hour two kicks off with the guys talking about receiver Brian Hartline and his release from Cleveland. Moving to other players the guys bring up Mark Sanchez and his recovery. They talk about OTAs starting tomorrow and the concern of Von Miller most likely not being there. The guys talk about how this will not affect Miller.

The guys discuss Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and his snap count. They discuss how fans are criticizing him and his response to their “dumb” criticism. Recently a Green Bay fan took issue with how Rodgers handles his hard count before the snap. Then the guys move on and talk about Marshawn Lynch and if he will come back next season.

Hour three starts off with an interview with Chris Landry from LandryFootball.com. They discuss Marshawn Lynch most likely not coming back and the concussion protocol in the NFL. Plus, What do the Broncos have to do to improve in 2016-2017? Chris Landry says they may have to improve a part of the team that not many people are thinking of. Listen to the interview HERE!

After Chris Landry came on Ryan and Brandon react to some of what he had to say including the Broncos defense. The guys talk about the Broncos defense and if they can be better than last year. What would it take for an already historic defense last year to get better? The fellas wrap up the show discussing that as well as the teams offense.
