The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE IN STUDIO!!!
DMac breaks the news of Annabel Bowlen wanting to intervene in the Pat Bowlen trust battle, and what Bill Bowlen plans to do next. Big Al wonders why Annabel wants to enter the dispute, and what side she is on. Big Al notices that Annabel likes the way things are currently going with the trust.
In the Big 3, the guys discuss Charles Barkley endorsing the Nuggets on TNT, and Doc Rivers’ big fall on television. DMac says the LA Dodgers recent Yasiel Puig trade is a sign that they are making room for Bryce Harper, and Big Al laughs about Chris Long’s locker dedicated to Nick Foles.
Big Al says this is a living resume for Broncos players, and he wants to see them give an effort in the first half & bring in Hogan for the second half. Also, Al reminds us that nobody wants to put out bad film.
In Football @ 4, the guys talk about putting out film, and what contract incentives are left to play for. DMac mentions Bradley Chubb & Phillip Lindsay’s records that still need to be broken, and the importance of playing guys we are curious about. Also, Talib & Sanders dogging it in the final game, and why the ‘72ers will make sure we go 8-8 this season.
DMac asks Big Al about Michael Malone’s influence on the Nuggets roster, and takes a call from Larry about why he’s bringing the fans down. Also, Big Al thinks it would be funny if VJ responded with a ‘no’ when asked if management has his back.
DMac asks Al about his thoughts on Josey Jewell & what if the Broncos miss the playoffs for another year. DMac says not paying a high-priced corner is the right move for the Broncos.
DMac says there is no doubt, if anyone deserves a statue in Denver it’s John Elway. Big Al asks DMac if the Raiders are still the Broncos’ rival if both teams are a disaster. DMac’s beef with the morning show grows by the day, as he continues to argue for drafting a quarterback instead of skill players.
Big Al talks about Kyle Boller & Lamar Jackson compared to Joe Flacco. Also, Big Al wants the Broncos to give their head coach a chance to draft their own QB & pick their coaches.
