On a Fired up Football Friday, The Drive LIVE in studio, Big Al and DMac welcome in Cecil Lammey and Tyler Polumbus to help get us fired up and educated about the San Diego Chargers. The legendary Fire Up comes down at 5pm.
The Drive LIVE with Big Al and DMac FIRED UP on this Football Friday, gets the show rolling with the news breaking that C.J. Anderson will miss the remainder of the regular season, has been put on I.R. DMac seems to finally be coming around with Trevor Siemian the starting Quarterback of the Broncos and not worrying so much about Paxton Lynch’s development. The Big Three at 3:30 brings up prices of World Series tickets, Sevyn Streeter and the Philadelphia 76ers pulling her from the National Anthem and the Bengals and Redskins are playing in London this weekend. Cecil Lammey, our Broncos Insider, joins the show to break down what exactly has went on with C.J. Anderson, who had surgery yesterday and was placed on I.R. earlier today. Football at Four underway with Big Al and DMac talking about the severity of damage it will have on the Broncos offense. Alfred says, while C.J. is a “special” Running Back, it’s not the end of the world for this offense, their depth should be able to carry the load. Tyler Polumbus joins the show as DMac brings up the #23 Buffs, who are enjoying a bye week. Moving onto the Broncos, the fellas discuss what differences the Offensive Line will face with C.J. Anderson being out for the season. The hour wraps up with the fellas going over their picks for The Fan Pick em, focusing on the AFC West and a couple big games in the NFL.
The third and final hour of the week brings in the legendary Fire Up as we get fired up for a Broncos W over the Chargers on Sunday. The Closing Bell rings on ticket prices for the World Series and the San Diego Chargers and Ken Whisenhunt as trending up. Trending down is Darrelle Revis’ skills and no CU Football this weekend. The show wraps up with the fellas talking Chargers football as Al gives us some things that he noticed from last weekend’s game between San Diego and the Atlanta Falcons.
