Wolfe tells the guys he can’t imagine the stress VJ & Elway were under today at their press conference, and gives his thoughts on Shelby Harris & DeMarcus Walker learning from Bill Kollar.

Al tells DMac he is proud of John Elway, and Lamar Jackson is the truth. Al thinks Josh Allen may reluctantly be the best option, and DMac throws out Josh McCown as a possible ‘bridge’ option. The guys run through some options DMac wouldn’t mind drafting, and get Al’s thoughts on drafting Baker Mayfield. The guys talk about QBs with swagger that are worth keeping around, like Kyle Sloter. DMac gets Big Al’s opinion on drafting Baker Mayfield here in Denver, and Big Al says every coach deserves the right to bring in their own staff. Also, whether or not John Elway was waiting for the Texans to move on from Bill O’Brien. Al & DMac laugh about John Elway’s mic-drop moment on DMac at his press conference today. DMac asks Al who his favorite for Broncos QB1 next season is currently, and Al says it’s AJ McCarron. Al thinks there are too many red flags to draft Baker Mayfield, and DMac fills Al in about Baker’s beef with Mark Schlereth.

Al & DMac decide why Denver let Studesville go, and DMac explains why Von Miller inspired him but Aqib Talib did not. The guys talk about how long Denver’s stars were left in the KC game, and DMac notes how quick Talib was pulled & waives goodbye to Aqib’s captaincy. Also, Al & DMac try to figure out why Jamaal Charles & DeAngelo Henderson weren’t allowed to spin all year. Big Al says Joe Ellis is batting a thousand right now, and DMac talks about season ticket holders selling their individual game tickets for profit. DMac says the 2018 NFL season started today for the Broncos.
