The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE in studio! Cecil Lammey joins the show to agree with DMac that he doesn’t hate Janovich, he’s just a bad fit for this Mike McCoy system. Cecil says Jamaal Charles is not getting enough touches, and the Broncos can stay ahead of the curve by getting the ball in their playmakers’ hands.

DMac asks Big Al if he would support Peyton Manning for Senate, as news comes down about Peyton running for Senator in Tennessee. Big Al dishes his thoughts on the Cowboys last night, and says that’s an organization doing it the right way with a message to be proud of. Schlereth & Evans lose in Week 3 of the Fan Football Pick ‘Em, and Al & DMac decide what to do with the morning show. Also, when it’s time to pull Trevor Siemian & go with another QB. DMac asks Al about the NCAA arrests involving bribery charges, and the guys decide if players should be paid in the wake of a recent FBI fraud & corruption probe. Big Al asks DMac about Carson Wentz being mic’d up for Jake Elliott’s game-winning FG and if Tony Romo is stomping on his play-by-play partner Jim Nantz. Callers say we’ve seen what Paxton Lynch & Brock Osweiler have, and the Broncos need to stick with Trevor Siemian. Al says the Broncos have a better chance at playoffs with a high-powered offense, and the guys argue if the Bills are truly better than the Broncos.

In Football at Four, Big Al says there were multiple moments last night when the Arizona Cardinals could have put the Dallas Cowboys away & failed to do so, and DMac is still upset about Von Miller’s unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for his ‘down low, too slow’ antics on Sunday. Al says Trevor is dynamic, but just had a bad game. Cecil Lammey joins the show to agree with DMac that he doesn’t hate Janovich, he’s just a bad fit for this Mike McCoy system. Cecil says Denver must utilize their weapons similar to Chris Thompson, who tore the Raiders up on Sunday night. Also, how to help out Siemian when he’s not seeing the field well & why we’re not seeing screen passes to DT like old times. Listen to the interview HERE! DMac says the Raiders don’t have the front seven the Bills do, and Al says Von Miller is simply a playmaker & there should have been some more razzle-dazzle for the Broncos on the road. The guys decide when Denver should keep running the ball, and agree the game-plan was executed poorly & Denver beat themselves. AFC West Power Rankings time, and Big Al hints at something being seriously wrong with the L.A. Chargers & Philip Rivers. DMac wonders if the Chargers drop another to the Eagles this weekend, dropping them to 0-4 on the season. Al says the Raiders will be back offensively after they struggled against Washington, and it’s troubling to see the No Fly Zone give up yards on crossing routes. Also, Al cautions DMac that the Chiefs have exposed teams in multiple weeks on shovel passes.

Big Al says it gets cloudy when players start asking antagonists to meet them in person, and a caller wants to know how to stop Marshawn Lynch at home this week. DMac says Siemian may be hurt, and we will see if he has a rest day tomorrow. The guys take calls on Trevor Siemian looking rattled, timid & hurt, and Big Al says it might have just been a bad day overall for Trevor. A tip of the cap to the Jeopardy contestants, and their awfully terrible answers when it comes to NFL teams. The poor Colorado Rockies get thrown out as an answer for NFL teams, and DMac & Al make fun of the Jeopardy contestants.
