Steve Czaban of ESPN 980 in Washington D.C. joins Big Al & DMac to talk about the RGIII story line, and what Mike Shanahan saw in Kirk Cousins. Al tells Czaban Cousins just wants to be loved, and Czaban thinks Cousins could be fabulous in the right system. Czaban says the Vikings might be in play for Cousins, and he will have an assortment of options to pick from. Also, Czaban says Alex Smith is committed to his craft, more athletic than Cousins, and is not missed in KC. Listen to the interview HERE! The guys talk stability with Broncos ownership, and DMac says his excitement is limited when it comes to getting Kirk Cousins. Big Al is quick to remind everyone that Elway landed Peyton Manning, so there is always a chance he changes the game by landing Drew Brees. Al & DMac wrap up the show talking Chad Kelly, and Al wonders why they are even talking about a 7th round draft pick as the Broncos’ starting QB. Al says Kelly getting a fair shot will all depend on the playcalling, and DMac says the Trevor Siemian experiment may have ruined it for Kelly.
