The Drive with DMac and Mike Klis (in for Big Al) has a lot to talk about on this Broncos day off as Coach Kubiak has said this week’s game is a focus on the future, the question remains, who will be the starting Quarterback on Sunday for the orange and blue? Cecil Lammey and Tyler Polumbus join the show to help solve that Rubik’s cube as the team is set to get back to work tomorrow out at the UC Health Training Center.
The Drive with DMac and Mike Klis (in for Big Al) LIVE in studio as the Broncos have a day off before they return to work tomorrow to prepare for the Raiders on Sunday. The guys talk about Aqib Talib and his role on this team, in which Mike suggests Aqib is the Broncos’ 2nd best player on the roster. The Big Three at 3:30 brings up the Buffalo Bills’ firing of the Ryan brothers, Tyrod Taylor will not play this weekend for the Bills and could be out as their Quarterback and the importance of these College Bowl games. Cecil Lammey, our Fan Broncos Insider, joins the show to talk Broncos’ Off-season and what the team could look to do to better their situation heading into next season. Tyrod Taylor, for example, could muddy the waters with this Broncos Quarterback situation, instead of clearing things up because Taylor isn’t a clear upgrade over Trevor Siemian. DMac tells us what his plan would be in the off-season for the Broncos and who they should bring in to help solve some of these chemistry issues the team seems to be having. Mike says the Broncos’ starting Quarterback next season should be Trevor Siemian. Tyler Polumbus joins the show to give us his thought about who the starting Quarterback will be heading into next season and how much the starter of this Week 17 game against the Raiders will reflect who’s leading the race heading into next year. Also trending up is Paxton Lynch, who has yet to be confirmed as the Broncos’ Week 17 starter but is widely expected to be under center against the Raiders. Trending down is the Ryan brother’s chances of getting another NFL coaching gig, as well as the Broncos’ future as trending down.
