Al & DMac debate the right thing to do about Hurricane Irma & what to do about playing the Miami Dolphins home games. Big Al says it’s comparable to another Miami Dolphins Sunday, because tragedy happens in the NFL all the time & fans don’t hear about it unless it’s Brett Favre or Isaiah Thomas. The Broncos sign RB Jonathan Williams to their practice squad, Big Al congratulates local billionaire Tilman Fertitta on buying the Houston Rockets. DMac says it’s down to St. Louis & Milwaukee as the Rockies’ final big competitors with three weeks left in the MLB season, and Big Al says quit calling for Kevin Sumlin’s head. Jamal Carter joins the show to say it’s been a grind, but he loves it. Jamal gives the guys a walk-through of cut-down day and what it was like hearing TJ Ward had been cut. Jamal said the day was nerve-racking, but he started to feel good once he caught a positive vibe from the coaches. Jonathan Williams is now on the Broncos practice squad, and Big Al is excited about the kid out of Arkansas. Big Al says Williams can go, and it’s all a matter of him getting a look & what happens with Devontae Booker. Brock is back, and Big Al hints at those who love Colorado never wanting to leave it. Big Al mentions that Brock was going to be the guy, but now the situation is cloudier than before. Troy Renck joins the show to talk about Jamaal Charles learning to trust his knee again, and Troy says Charles has the ability to do things nobody else on the roster can do. Troy says without a nailed-down 3rd WR on the Broncos roster, Charles becomes even more valuable as Siemian’s safety-valve. Troy says Siemian’s injury history is something to monitor, and the jury is still out on Devontae Booker’s health. Listen to the interview HERE! Also, The guys discuss stealing signs in a youth game & at what age is it simply gamesmanship. Big Al says he has no problem with it, and would use any advantage he could to win.

LISTEN TO HOUR THREE HERE!!!

The guys debate if the ’same play’ balk is cheating, and what calls would mean another thing when the coach or play-caller says it. Big Al tells DMac the play that would score a touchdown every time that was called ‘same play’ and DMac has learned never to catch an infield fly. Also, the guys play the positional intellect game. DMac says Chad Brown works harder than the both of them, and the guys take a call on the Wonderlic being a flawed tool for neuro-cognitive studies. Al says Siemian was the best rookie at his age, and points to his ability to change the play at the line as an indicator. Also, Big Al wonders if Brock really loved Denver, and notes that those who love it here show that they do by moving to & staying in Colorado.
