The Drive with Big Al and DMac on a day where the Broncos missed out on Ronnie Hillman, as the San Diego Chargers were awarded him off waivers, the fellas are joined by Troy Renck and Tyler Polumbus to talk about what the team is looking to do with this rushing game, as it’s apparent the organization isn’t pleased with the position.

The Drive with Big Al and DMac LIVE in studio gets the show going talking about Turkey Bowls and DMac, who received an invite to Alfred’s Neighborhood Turkey Bowl.  The Big Three at 3:30 brings up last night’s Monday Night Football Game in Mexico City between the Raiders and Texans, Bill O’Brien’s decision making in the game last night and Kirk Cousins’ comments towards the Redskins’ GM.  Troy Renck, our Broncos Insider from Channel 7, joins the show to talk about the uncertainty in the Broncos’ backfield as Andy Janovich is hurting, as is the rushing attack as a whole as Troy says this team needs to be multi-dimensional heading into these next six weeks.  Also, Donald Stephenson being benched for Ty Sambrailo makes Troy think Stephenson could be a fit in a rotation at Guard. Football at Four underway with breaking news, the Chargers have claimed Ronnie Hillman off Waivers from the Vikings, which leads to the conversation of a Ronnie Lott led group of people that are working to keep the Raiders in Oakland.  The conversation shifts back to the Broncos as the fellas go back and forth on the backfield of the Broncos, talking Yards after Contact and Yards per Carry.  The hour wraps up with the fellas talking about how the rushing game and comparing it to the rest of the NFL, which Alfred calls the Broncos attack “below average.”

The third and final hour of The Drive underway with news from Mike Klis of 9NEWS that the Broncos did put in a request for Ronnie Hillman, the Chargers were awarded Hillman because they had priority on the waiver order.  Next, the CU Buffs come in at #9 in the new College Football Playoff rankings, moving up one spot from last week.  Tyler Polumbus joins the show to give some feedback about the Buffs, as Tyler was on the sidelines for the game against Washington State.  The fellas also toss around scenarios as to where CU could move up the rankings.  Finally, the guys debate the hot topic of the day, the Broncos rushing attack and who’s to blame for the struggles.  Catch the chat with Tyler HERE!  The Closing Bell rings on Joe Thomas Sr, a 55 year old College Football player at South Carolina State and Brock Osweiler as trending up.  Trending down is Notre Dame’s academic issues, making them vacate wins.
