The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE IN STUDIO! ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter joins the show to talk about his new book highlighting the effect the events from 9/11 had on his life, and to talk Pat Bowlen’s legacy. DMac asks Schefter if Dan Reeves was open to trading John Elway, and Big Al gets Schefter’s reaction to the news of Adam ‘Pac-Man’ Jones signing in Denver. Fan Broncos/Fantasy Insider Cecil Lammey joins the show to talk about his Fantasy Draft Special & why Al is upset with DMac about the players he drafted.

DMac says it’s weird that the Bengals did not bring back Adam ‘Pac-Man’ Jones this year, and thinks it’s sad the Broncos are so low that they have to sign him. Big Al says maybe the Broncos know something we don’t about Kayvon Webster & Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, and maybe Pac-Man is just better. Schefter says most teams wouldn’t sign Pac-Man knowing his reputation. Big Al doesn’t understand why DMac isn’t excited about making the team better, and DMac explains why PacMan doesn’t represent the Broncos well. The guys talk about the retirements of Eric Decker & Manu Ginobli, and DMac thinks we’re headed for disaster with the DeAngelo Henderson situation. Also, DMac gives Andy Janovich some much-needed credit for his blocking in the Washington game.

Big Al tells DMac PacMan Jones is one of the best athletes he’s ever seen, and that’s the only reason why Denver would bring in a player of his character. The guys debate if PacMan could be Denver’s punt returner, and if he’s a better athlete than Isaiah McKenzie. Fan Broncos/Fantasy Insider Cecil Lammey joins the show to talk about his Fantasy Draft Special & why Al is upset with DMac about the players he drafted. Cecil says PacMan can be Denver’s third corner, even though he’s not quite the player he used to be. Cecil says this could signal the end for Isaiah McKenzie, and mentions some names that could fill in for Su’a Cravens. Listen to the interview HERE!!! Dmac tells Big Al teams are lining up to sign DeAngelo Henderson once the Broncos release him, and notes that Denver can’t keep Andy Janovich & all their other backs. Big Al says Henderson showed patience as a runner in the preseason, and the Broncos have a tough decision on their hands. Big Al tells a story about Royce Freeman, and points out some things he noticed about the running backs that have him excited about Denver’s rushing attack. Also, DMac gets into the drama about Paxton Lynch’s FOR SALE sign & why he ‘just doesn’t get it.’

Big Al says PacMan Jones is clearly a supreme athlete, and must leave his past at the door in Denver. DMac is disgusted with the signing, and stands up for women & the character the Broncos need to uphold. Big Al says there’s no time like the present to overhaul your entire team. Big Al is a big fan of superstar athletes holding out to get their money while the broncos play against their respective teams. Al says Chad Kelly has been great, and DMac says Kelly has done everything the Broncos needed him to do. DMac tells Big Al what he wishes they could do with the NFL’s new ‘helmet rule,’ and says it’s obvious they’ve cleaned things up a little bit. Also, Al & DMac preview the Colorado Rockies’ series against the LA Angels.
