In hour 3 of The Drive, Zach and Phil debate how Riley Moss is feeling after Kris Abrams-Drain and Jahdae Barron have stepped in and played well in his absence. How close are the guys to wanting the Broncos to pay Moss? Phil calls his shot that Jaquan MacMillian will get an extension with the Broncos but not Riley Moss. We debate if the Broncos need to pick up the phone and trade for a running back like Jonathon Taylor to bolster the running back room. Is there room to add to the position with Dobbins, Harvey, and Coleman already taking up carries? We react to the Avalanche losing to one of the worst teams in the NHL. Did the Avs not bring the necessary effort to beat a bad team? Veteran reporter James Palmer joins the show to discuss what he learned in his deep dive into Bo Nix, how Bo Nix lost his competitive level and the fire he played with in his first two seasons, and whether the Broncos should trade for Jonathon Taylor.
