Wednesday, September 30, 2026 | 43:31

In hour 2 of The Drive, Zach and Will finish up their conversation on Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes. Is there controversy over repeat numbers between the backup quarterback and another wide receiver on the team? We pivot to the Avalanche and Jared Bednar's 4-year contract extension, which was announced this morning. Was this Joe Sakic's decision or Josh Kroenke's? The guys explain why they have a problem with the length of the contract. Have the Avs ever shown they can overcome adversity? Should the Avs introduce "load management" this season to ensure they are healthy heading into the playoffs? Today's "Three Count" includes if the Broncos are being disrespected by CBS sending their number one broadcast crew to Las Vegas instead of covering the Broncos and Niners game, Rick Neuheisel returning to Colorado to become the Colorado UFL team, and recapping the first 24 hours of Wild Card weekend in Major League Baseball. Is Talanoa Hufanga not getting enough credit after his incredible performance on Sunday Night Football?
