Will Petersen and Dante Gomez are in for Denver Sports Tonight. Will and Dante are joined by James Merialtt to take a deep dive into the Broncos. Do the guys agree with Sean Payton that the Broncos are not playing "championship football"? How close is Sean Payton to taking back offensive play calling? Is Bo Nix hearing the outside criticism about his play this season? Has Bo Nix been going out of his way to avoid running the ball to avoid contact following his ankle injury last year? Could the Broncos pull the trigger on a major trade at quarterback this offseason? Will Nix and this offense take advantage when the schedule gets lighter after the first 6 weeks? What do we make of Courtland Sutton's shockingly slow start to the season? We wrap up the show reacting to the breaking news from our colleague, Brandon Stokley, saying that Sean Payton will retake play-calling duties this week.
