Mercifully, the regular season is over. It was a good one for the Avalanche. They recorded 119 points, secured the No. 1 seed in the West and had the third-best goal differential in the NHL.

But it’s also seemed like a bit of a formality. Since the opening game, the 2021-22 season has been all about getting to the postseason, where Colorado hopes to avenge losing in the second round in three straight playoffs.

Now, that moment is finally here. The Avs have finally arrived at their destination.

To start things off, Colorado will face Nashville. The Predators are the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference, securing the final wild-card berth.

The best-of-seven series will begin on Tuesday in Denver. Here’s the full schedule:
