Watch: The Avalanche lifts the Stanley Cup for the third time

Joe Sakic accepted the Stanley Cup from Gary Bettman on behalf of the Colorado Avalanche in 1996 and 2001. (Although he quickly handed the Cup to Ray Bourque after the Avs’ second title.)
Sunday night, the honor of accepting and lifting the Cup belonged to longtime team captain Gabe Landeskog.

Defenseman Cale Makar also accepted the Conn Smythe Trophy as the most valuable player of the postseason:
