Former CU Buffs star Travis Hunter scores his first NFL touchdown

Former CU Buffs star Travis Hunter is officially on the board in the NFL.

The reigning Heisman Trophy winner found the end zone for the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday in London against the Los Angeles Rams. It’s Hunter’s first career professional touchdown after a legendary career in Boulder.

The Jaguars got crushed by the Rams, 35-7, but it was good to see Travis Hunter turn in his best day in the NFL thus far. He had eight catches for 101 yards and the touchdown above.

And the two-way star with Colorado is doing the same at the next level. Hunter also had this great pass breakup against star L.A. receiver Davante Adams earlier in the contest.

Travis Hunter was special in a CU Buffs uniform and that earned him the honors of being selected No. 2 overall by the Jaguars in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Jacksonville is starting to see a great return on that investment, even if the rest of the team wasn’t up to snuff against the Rams.

Here’s to the first of many NFL touchdowns for Travis Hunter. It certainly won’t be his last.
