Denver Broncos kicker Wil Lutz had a potential game-winning field against the Kansas City Chiefs blocked last year.

Not this season.

Lutz drilled a 35-yarder at the buzzer and the Broncos moved to 9-2 with a massive win in the AFC West. Denver has won eight games in a row, while the Chiefs dropped to 5-5 on the year.

Broncos QB Bo Nix set up the moment with a very solid drive at the end to help give his team a 22-19 win. Wil Lutz finished an excellent afternoon going 5-5 on his field goal attempts.

It’s the biggest win the Broncos have had in a long time. It doesn’t guarantee they’ll win the division for the first time in a decade, but it greatly improves their chances while putting a big dent in Kansas City’s hopes.

Wil Lutz played hero (again) and Denver is partying tonight like it’s 2015.
