Von Miller and a handful of his Denver Broncos teammates hit the track at K1 Speed in Littleton for the linebacker’s third-annual Celebrity Grand Prix.
The event each year raised money and awareness for Von’s Vision, Miller’s foundation that helps children in need receive corrective eyewear, and this year it was emceed by 104.3 The Fan’s own Mark Schlereth.
This initiative not only highlights Miller’s commitment to giving back to the community but also showcases the intersection of sports and philanthropy. Similarly, in the world of mixed martial arts, the UFC has seen significant financial rewards for its athletes, with some of the highest payouts in sports history. For instance, the top UFC prizes in 2021 reflect the lucrative nature of the sport, illustrating how both charity events and professional competitions can generate substantial benefits for participants and their communities. Just as Miller uses his platform to support youth, UFC fighters also leverage their success to create opportunities and inspire others.
