Vance Joseph now has five interviews to be an NFL head coach again

Denver Broncos defensive coordinator Vance Joseph is going to have a busy bye week.

As the team waits to see who they’ll play in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs, Joseph is getting plenty of interest to be an NFL head coach again.

On Monday, we learned the Tennessee Titans are interested in Joseph’s services. On Tuesday, four more squads with head coaching vacancies have called Joseph.

Obviously, the Las Vegas Raiders are interesting because they’re in the AFC West. Broncos fans would probably prefer Vance Joseph leave the division if he’s going to depart Denver.

After that, the Cardinals jump out because Joseph was the defensive coordinator there after he got fired by the Broncos from his first head-coaching stint.

The Falcons have had some good years in recent memory, but must figure out their plan at quarterback moving forward in a bad NFC South.

And finally, the Giants and Titans are both a mess, but it’d be a good challenge for Joseph to see if he could help turn either franchise around.

Joseph, the Broncos’ head coach in the 2017 and 2018 seasons, returned in 2023 as DC and overcame a rough start to eventually rebuild the defense into one of the league’s most powerful units, finishing the 2025 season No. 2 in total defense behind the Houston Texans.

It’s the Broncos’ highest rank in total defense since 2015, when they finished atop the league en route to a Super Bowl 50 title.

Denver also finished third in the league in scoring defense for a second-consecutive season.

People in Broncos Country are rooting for Vance Joseph to get a second chance at being a head coach. Preferably, it’d be after winning a Super Bowl as Denver’s DC in about a month.
