DMac and Tyler kicked off the show reflecting back on some of the comments Drew Lock made on Friday’s show. The fellas also looked back at the final Broncos game of last season and how they barely won that game. Can’t forget the late penalty from Garett Bolles. In the water cooler, the guys gave their thoughts on the latest episodes of “The Last Dance.” The fellas closed out the hour hearing from Phillip Lindsay talking with Terrell Davis. How does Lindsay feel about the Broncos signing Melvin Gordon?
In Football at Four, DMac and Tyler talked about the report of the Broncos having Matt Hennessy as their number one rated center ahead of Lloyd Cushenberry. DMac mentioned how much the Broncos really love Michael Ojemudiah and why they couldn’t wait to draft him seven picks later. Tyler then broke down the film of Cushenberry against Alabama. Was Cushenberry the alpha dog on the entire LSU team? The guys then jumped back into Pat’s Playbook to break down the latest game of the 2017 Minnesota Vikings. The fellas then had some fun reacting to K.J. Hamler’s mom encouraging him on while running up a hill for a workout. The guys then reacted to the latest report speculating that Peyton Manning wants to be in a front office/ownership role. Tyler explained why he thinks Peyton would have success being in charge of a NFL team. Our Broncos insider Troy Renck joined the show and explained why he thinks Peyton Manning would rather be an owner instead of a GM of a NFL team. Tyler asked Troy what Denver’s plan is at the left tackle position.
In the third hour, Tyler gave his thoughts on the Broncos not picking up Garett Bolles’ 5th year option. DMac mentioned how good of an upcoming offensive tackle class will be there in 2021. The guys then reacted to the news of the NFL schedule being released on Thursday.
