The Broncos can cross Trubisky off their quarterback list

Another day and another quarterback is officially off the market.

Former Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky is signing a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills, according to NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Bills are giving former Bears' QB Mitchell Trubisky a one-year deal. He now becomes the back up to Josh Allen.

In 2020, Trubisky started in nine games and completed 199 of 297 pass attempts for 2,055 yards.

He had a completion percentage of 67%, averaged 6.9 yards per pass attempt, threw for 16 touchdowns and had a passer rating of 93.5.

Trubisky will serve as a backup to Josh Allen. However, Trubisky has a similar style of play to Allen and gives the team insurance in case the franchise quarterback gets injured in the upcoming season.
