Peyton Manning and John Lynch named Pro Football Hall of Fame finalists

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Former Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning and safety John Lynchwere named finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2021, it was announced on Tuesday.

Manning and Lynch were selected as two of 15 modern-era finalists from an initial group of 130 nominees. They join the recommended nominees from the Coach (Tom Flores), Contributor (Bill Nunn) and Senior (Drew Pearson) Committees as the 18 finalists that will be considered for enshrinement by the Pro Football Hall of Fame Selection Committee.

The Class of 2021 will be determined and announced during the week leading up to Super Bowl LV (Sunday, Feb. 7) in Tampa, Fla., and enshrined on Sunday, Aug. 8, in Canton, Ohio.
