It’s Gameday! Stoke and Zach kick off the show with a recap of the first Sunday of the NFL season. Beth Mowins, first female to call an NFL prime time game is on the call for tonight’s game between the Broncos and Chargers on ESPN and she joins the fellas. Beth talks about the respect the two teams have for each other and if the Broncos’ o-line can help protect Trevor Siemian. hear that interview HERE. Brandon says that The Broncos need to get the Chargers uncomfortable on offense and stop the running game. Brandon McManus has inked a new deal with the Denver Broncos just hours before the game tonight against the Chargers.

The guys start off hour two with the defensive line and if they can stop the run tonight against the Chargers. Brandon hopes guys can plug up the middle on defense better this year. The guys talk about some keys to tonight’s game including keeping drives going by converting on third down and stopping the run at the line of scrimmage. Fan Broncos Insider, Cecil Lammey joins the guys and he is asked about what he is most concerned about heading into week 1. Cecil says it’s the run defense and the offensive line. Fan Broncos Insider, Mike Pritchard joins the guys to talk about what he expects out of Jamaal Charles and the running back corp. Mike says that at this point of the day, the players just need to be getting their mind right before the first game of the season. Pritch’s full interview is right HERE. Stoke’s beef is with the ejection that happened yesterday in the Seahawks/Packers game.

We are live one the air for one more hour on game day. One key to the game that no one has brought up, is special teams. Brandon says the coverage units need to be better and get rid of the penalties. Stoke thinks the defensive front needs to keep Charger running back, Melvin Gordon under 80 yards to be considered a success. The guys have audio from Beth Mowins, ESPN analyst, who was on earlier in the show. The guys give their predictions for the game and the scores for tonight.
