It appears Broncos are doing their best to keep Patriots fans out of Mile High

The Denver Broncos have an incredible homefield advantage.

And it appears they’re doing their best to keep it that way on Sunday.

The Broncos will host the New England Patriots at Empower Field at Mile High in the AFC Championship Game. The winner heads to the Super Bowl, the loser sees their season end and big dreams come up just short.

Hopefully, it’s all of Broncos Country packing the stadium while Patriots fans can watch on television. According to some viral posts on social media and other sources, Ticketmaster is limiting who can purchase entry to the contest.

This is smart by the Broncos. Why let people in Boston or the New England area buy tickets? Keep it to folks in Colorado and the surrounding region, which appears to be exactly what the organization is doing.

Denver famously beat the Patriots in two AFC Championship Games following the 2013 and 2015 NFL seasons. Peyton Manning and the Broncos defense got the best of Tom Brady twice, sending the franchise to two Super Bowls in three years.

New England is also 0-4 all-time in playoff games in the Mile High City, and this version of the Broncos is desperately hoping to make it 0-5. They’ll have to do it without starting QB Bo Nix who fractured his ankle, but head coach Sean Payton has faith in backup Jarrett Stidham.

And Broncos Country will be loud and proud on Sunday. Hopefully, it’s only a few hundred Patriots fans who find a way into the building.
