DENVER — The Denver Broncos are back at Empower Field at Mile High for the biggest game of the season yet, as the division rival Kansas City Chiefs are coming to town for a pivotal matchup. The orange and blue have won seven games in a row, tied for the longest streak in the league, but after last week’s low-scoring game against the Raiders, this week is poised to be a prove-it game for Sean Payton’s squad.

The Chiefs had a slow start to the season, but they’ve generated some momentum and are still very much in the hunt at 5-4. The offense has looked like what most people are accustomed to with the return of Rashee Rice, and they still have Patrick Mahomes running the offense, which leaves anything and everything on the table.

Kansas City leads the all-time series 73-57, but have come up empty the last two games in Denver. The Broncos were as close as can be to sweeping the series a season ago, but the Chiefs blocked a potential game-winning field goal as time expired in the first matchup last November.

Sunday’s game is scheduled to kick off at 2:25 p.m. MT from Empower Field at Mile High. The game will be televised on CBS with Jim Nantz and Tony Romo on the call. Check your local listings to see if you get the game, as those who don’t will have to watch on NFL Sunday Ticket.
