Broncos owners gift brand-new gear to youth football team in England

The Denver Broncos have some of the best owners in the national Football League. The Walton-Penner Family Ownership Group, headlined by Greg Penner and Carrie Walton Penner, have helped rejuvenate this organization and have put the Broncos back in a position to succeed.

From putting plans in place to build a new stadium downtown to being willing to put money into a football franchise that needed to get out of some tough financial situations, the WPFOG’s involvement with the team has been second-to-none, but it’s not just their impact on the team that has been great. They’ve also looked out for the community time and time again.

This week, they gave back to the Leicester Panthers tackle football team in England by supplying them with brand new gear, highlighted by some sleek helmets from Axiom.

This is part of the organization’s “ALL IN. ALL COVERED.” initiative that gave over 15,000 of those same helmets to high school football players around the state of Colorado, an eight-figure commitment. No other ownership group has shown a sense of commitment to the local high schools near the team like the Broncos owners have. This organization, and the state of Colorado, is lucky to have owners that care about more than just making a profit.

After Broncos practice on Friday, Penner also talked about the new stadium site at Burnham Yard that the team recently identified. He mentioned that they would welcome big events besides the Super Bowl, such as the Final Four, and would be open to hosting the Super Bowl as early as 2033.

Every Broncos fan should be happy that these are the owners of their football team. They put everyone else first, and have done an excellent job at the helm of the organization the last few seasons.
