Dre Greenlaw good to go for Broncos playoff game on Saturday

Denver Broncos linebacker Dre Greenlaw will be on the field this weekend.

That could potentially be huge.

Greenlaw is officially off the Broncos final injury report and has no injury designation for Saturday’s looming showdown with the Buffalo Bills.

Dre Greenlaw suffered a hamstring injury Dec. 21 against the Jackonsville Jaguars and hasn’t played since. He’s battled injuries since last spring, suiting up in only eight games for Denver in his first season in orange and blue.

In those contests, the former San Francisco 49ers standout has 43 tackles for the Broncos to go along with a sack, an interception and a forced fumble.

Considering in the playoffs last year Bills running back James Cook tore Denver up for 12o yards and a touchdown, having Dre Greenlaw in the mix this time around is significant. Buffalo also possessed the football for more than 41 minutes as Denver’s defense couldn’t get off the field.

Elsewhere, defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers is good to go with a hip injury. Lucas Krull and Drew Sanders both practiced this week, but neither will be activated off injured reserve and are marked as out.

The Broncos gave Dre Greenlaw a healthy contract this summer. If he can earn it over the next three postseason games, it’ll be worth every penny.
