Broncos sign outside linebacker Kasim Edebali to 1-year deal

General manager John Elway and company continue to add to the Denver Broncos defense in free agency, signing unrestricted free agent outside linebacker Kasim Edebali to a one-year deal.

The announcement of Denver’s agreement with Edebali comes just hours after the club introduced defensive linemen Domata Peko and Zach Kerr.

Edebali, a 6-foot-2, 253-pound fourth-year pro, started two games and played in each of his 48 games during his first three seasons with the New Orleans Saints after signing with the franchise as a college free agent out of Boston College.

During his time in the Big Easy, the Hamburg, Germany, native tallied 40 tackles, 8 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery.
