ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — All of the Broncos’ top three running backs are dealing with some type of injury, but all participated in practice Wednesday as the team began its on-field preparations for Sunday night’s game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Every member of the 53-player primary roster and practice squad was on the field when practice began.

First-team running back J.K. Dobbins left last Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars due to a hamstring issue, but took part. Rookie Jonah Coleman suffered a sprained ankle last Sunday, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, but that didn’t keep him from taking part in work Wednesday.

Second-year veteran RJ Harvey practiced Thursday and Friday last week on a limited basis, leaving him questionable for last Sunday, but the Broncos opted to deactivate him, playing Tyler Badie instead. With Harvey injured, Coleman got his first professional touches, picking up 39 yards and a touchdown on 10 rushing attempts and 19 yards on three receptions.

Also practicing Wednesday was wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr., who missed the Jaguars game due to a foot injury. Mims first bruised his foot during the Aug. 28 preseason finale against Minnesota.
