CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Andrew Beck will make his return to the lineup Sunday after being inactive for two games due to a hamstring injury.
Beck suffered the injury Nov. 10, three days before the Broncos faced the Titans. He returned to practice this week and was cleared to play.
Also playing despite being questionable is edge rusher Jacob Martin. He suffered a knee injury last week.
But among the scratches for Sunday is third-year tight end Albert Okwuegbunam. With Beck injured, the Broncos activated him against Tennessee and Las Vegas. However, he saw no snaps in either game.
The Broncos also deactivated CB Michael Ojemudia for the first time since he returned from injured reserve in Week 6. Like Okwuegbunam, Ojemudia was active but did not play last week.
One reason why the Broncos scratched Ojemudia was the activation of rookie CB Faion Hicks from the practice squad. Hicks will make his NFL regular-season debut today.
Denver’s full list of inactives:
- WR KJ Hamler
- WR Jerry Jeudy
- S Anthony Harris
- DL Jonathan Harris
- CB Michael Ojemudia
- TE Albert Okwuegbunam
- CB K’Waun Williams
