It'll take a hefty contract and a premium draft pick in order to pry the promising linebacker or wide receiver away from Denver

On Tuesday, the Broncos decided what to do with their two remaining restricted free agents. The team placed second-round tenders on linebacker Alexander Johnson and wide receiver Tim Patrick.

That means that any team wishing to sign either of the players would have to offer them a contract worth more than $3.384 million in 2021, with the Broncos having the option of matching the deal. If Denver chose not to match, they’d receive a second-round draft pick as compensation.
Given those price tags, both monetarily and in draft capital, it seems unlikely that either Johnson or Patrick will be leaving. Both have blossomed since coming to the Broncos, so they’ll get a chance to continue that growth in Denver.
