ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Broncos linebacker Karene Reid continued to track toward a return from injured reserve on Thursday, and with Justin Strnad missing a second-straight day of practice due to an ankle injury, the rookie linebacker’s progress comes not a moment too soon.

Reid had full participation on Wednesday, his first day back after missing four games due to a hamstring injury suffered in the Nov. 6 win over the Las Vegas Raiders.

His full workload Wednesday was notable, especially when compared with the limited work of left guard Ben Powers, whose 21-day on-ramp period to return from injured reserve began seven days before Reid returned to the practice field. Powers saw limited work each day last week; he has not missed a day since returning to practice on Dec. 10.

Running back RJ Harvey and wide receiver Pat Bryant also practiced once again. Each of them had full participation Wednesday despite dealing with issues with their ribs and hamstring, respectively. Bryant did not play in last Sunday’s win over the Green Bay Packers, marking the first game missed by the rookie wide receiver as a pro.

Meanwhile, in Jacksonville, edge rusher Josh Hines-Allen returned to practice Thursday. An illness kept him sidelined for Wednesday’s work. Hines-Allen has 7 sacks and 23 quarterback hits this season.
