Broncos-Chiefs inactives: Que Robinson scratched despite solid game last Sunday

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Broncos’ flurry of recent injuries largely determined their game-day inactive list for the Christmas night duel with the Kansas City Chiefs at a foggy Arrowhead Stadium.

The Broncos’ full list of inactives for Thursday night is as follows:

The Broncos made a flurry of moves earlier in the day tied to the cluster of injuries absorbed in Sunday’s loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The most prominent of these was the decision to place center Luke Wattenberg on injured reserve with a shoulder injury.

Denver also promoted tight end Marcedes Lewis and offensive lineman Calvin Throckmorton from the practice squad to the 53-player roster. Both are in uniform for Thursday night’s game.

The only surprise on the Broncos’ inactive list was the presence of edge rusher Que Robinson, who had two quarterback hits and a tackle for loss against the Jaguars four days earlier but was made a healthy scratch for the Broncos’ final road game of the regular season.
