Broncos-Bills inactives: Both practice-squad elevations won’t be in uniform

The Broncos set their inactive list for Saturday's playoff showdown with the Buffalo Bills.

DENVER — The Broncos’ elevations of tight end Caleb Lohner and wide receiver Elijah Moore were just about giving them a little something extra in the form of an active-roster paycheck, and nothing more.

The rookie seventh-round tight end and the ex-Buffalo Bills wide receiver were both among the inactive players announced by the Broncos 90 minutes before kickoff of their first home playoff game in nearly 10 years.

The Broncos’ full list of inactives for Saturday:

• QB Sam Ehlinger (in uniform as emergency No. 3 QB)
• DE Sai’vion Jones
• TE Caleb Lohner
• WR Elijah Moore
• ILB Karene Reid
• Edge rusher Que Robinson
• CB Reese Taylor

The Broncos’ list includes three draft picks: Jones, Lohner and Robinson.

With no Broncos battling injuries on the 53-man roster, all of those are healthy scratches.

Defensive end Jordan Jackson, who returned to the active roster in Week 18 after not playing since Week 5, will be in uniform Saturday once again.

Inside linebacker Karene Reid is also inactive after returning from injured reserve during the playoff bye. He hasn’t played since Week 10 due to a hamstring injury suffered in the 10-7 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Fellow rookie Jordan Turner will once again be active to help provide depth behind Dre Greenlaw and Alex Singleton.
