Broncos-Chargers inactives: Adkins makes 2025 debut; McLaughlin scratched again
Nate Adkins will play for the first time this season, while the Broncos scratched Jaleel McLaughlin once again.
INGLEWOOD, Calif. — The Broncos mostly kept status quo for their inactive list heading into their Week 3 game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
The only changes revolved around the tight-end position and the absence of Dre Greenlaw, who moved to injured reserve Saturday, meaning he will miss the next four games. At tight end, Nate Adkins makes his debut, with Evan Engram scratched after being ruled out Friday due to a back injury.
Denver’s inactive list is as follows:
• OT Frank Crum
• QB Sam Ehlinger (emergency No. 3 QB)
• TE Evan Engram
• DE Sai’Vion Jones
• RB Jaleel McLaughlin
• Edge rusher Que Robinson
Saturday, the Broncos elevated fullback Adam Prentice and inside linebacker Garret Wallow from the practice squad — the same two elevations as the Broncos had last week.
Prentice is now out of elevations; if the Broncos want to use him in future games, they must add him to the 53-player roster.
