ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Broncos running back RJ Harvey and wide receiver Pat Bryant practiced Wednesday as the team turned its attention to the AFC South-leading Jacksonville Jaguars.
Harvey came down with a rib injury late in the Broncos’ 34-26 win over the Green Bay Packers last Sunday. Bryant missed last week’s game due to a hamstring issue.
The practice took place inside the Pat Bowlen Fieldhouse. Marvin Mims Jr. dealt with a stinger last Sunday and was evaluated for a possible concussion during the game, but returned to the field.
Linebacker Justin Strnad was the only player who didn’t practice. He suffered an ankle injury in the first half Sunday.
BRONCOS START CLOCK ON KARENE REID’S POTENTIAL RETURN
Rookie inside linebacker Karene Reid also practiced for the first time since suffering a hamstring injury against the Las Vegas Raiders on Nov. 6 and landing on injured reserve. That starts the clock on a 21-day period the Broncos will have to evaluate his status for potential activation to the 53-player roster.
Left guard Ben Powers continued practicing after returning to the field last week. He has 14 days remaining in his 21-day window following a two-month recovery from a torn biceps muscle suffered Oct. 5 at Philadelphia.
