ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos listed Jonah Coleman as not practicing for a second-consecutive day as they continued getting ready for Sunday night’s contest against the Los Angeles Rams.
Coleman was seen on the practice field when the team stretched out at the start of the session, but was shown as a non-participant on the injury report issued late Wednesday afternoon.
According to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Coleman is dealing with a sprained ankle suffered over the course of last Sunday’s 20-13 Broncos win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, when he accumulated 58 yards from scrimmage and his first career regular-season touchdown.
The news was more promising for fellow running backs J.K. Dobbins and RJ Harvey. Each of them had a full practice workload Thursday after seeing limited work Wednesday. Harvey was listed with a hamstring injury, while Dobbins has been shown with a hip injury; it was initially announced as a hamstring issue in the second half of last Sunday’s game.
“I think we’re good at that position,” Broncos coach Sean Payton said after Wednesday’s practice. “I think we’re going to be alright.”
Wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. also took part in practice for a second-consecutive day, but once again saw limited work.
