ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos welcomed Zach Allen and Jaylen Waddle back for practice Thursday, but saw two new players land on the official report with injuries as their work leading up to Sunday’s AFC West duel with the Kansas City Chiefs continued.
Running back RJ Harvey and safety Brandon Jones both saw limited work in Thursday’s session due to knee and hamstring injuries, respectively. Both were present on the field during the portion of practice that was open to media.
The two were not listed on Wednesday’s official practice report
Allen and Waddle did not participate in Wednesday’s practice due to hamstring and chest issues, respectively. Both were injured in the final moments of last Sunday’s win over the Arizona Cardinals. Waddle landed on last week’s injury report due to the chest injury.
Both of them were listed with limited participation Wednesday.
The only Broncos player who did not take part in Thursday’s practice was safety Talanoa Hufanga, who hasn’t played since suffering an ankle injury in the third quarter of the Oct. 11 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
Jones’ addition to the injury report leaves the Broncos with both of their first-team safeties dealing with injuries.
