The Broncos won’t know the when until May, but they now know the who of their 2026 opponents.

Pittsburgh’s 26-24 win over Baltimore put the final piece of the Broncos’ 2026 slate of foes into place, as the Steelers sealed first place in the AFC North, ensuring that they will host Denver at some point in the 2026 season.

Denver is a respectable 7-8 all-time in Pittsburgh, but has lost its last three games at Acrisure Stadium. Its last win there was on Nov. 5, 2006.

Earlier on Sunday, the Broncos learned they would face Jacksonville and Carolina, as the two 1995 expansion clubs clinched their respective division titles.

Denver will face a first-place schedule, which actually only determines three games of the 17-game slate: their opponents from the AFC North, AFC South and NFC South. They face the first-place teams from this season in each of those divisions.

The rest of the foes have been known for years, per the NFL’s scheduling rotation. Denver rotates through the other divisions in the AFC on a three-year basis and the NFC divisions on a four-year basis.

The 17th game on the schedule is also set by a rotation, with the AFC West foes scheduled to face a corresponding team from the NFC South in 2026 and 2030, the NFC East in 2027 and 2031, the NFC West in 2028 and 2032 and the NFC North in 2029 and 2033.

Ten of Denver’s opponents next year made this season’s playoffs.
