Bo Nix says ‘not many things you want to be negative about’ for 11-2 Broncos

The Denver Broncos and QB Bo Nix have won 10 games in a row.

It’s a crazy sentence when you really think about it.

The Broncos improved to 11-2 with a relatively easy 24-17 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. Denver held a 24-7 lead late before the Raiders hung some garbage time points on the scoreboard — and this one was never stressful.

Nix played well, completing 31 of the 38 passes he attempted. Nix only went for 212 yards passing, but managed the game and chewed up a lot of clock on long Broncos scoring drives. He also ran for a touchdown and didn’t have any turnovers.

After the game, Bo Nix was asked about the Broncos being red hot and it’s clear he’s trying to soak in the run they’re on right now.

“It’s amazing. 10 is a long streak and we’ve won 11 games. That’s really tough to do at this point in the season. And I mean, 11-2 is not many things that you want to be negative about because you want to be appreciative of this opportunity,” Nix said.

That all being said, Nix was clear that nothing has been given to the Broncos, even if they still control their own destiny for the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs.

“We’re always looking to get better. We know we’re not going to continue to win games because we’ve won them in the past,” Nix said. “A streak like that is hard to do… but we don’t want to stop at 11 (wins),” Nix said.

The New England Patriots are also 11-2, so Denver can’t stop here. Still, Bo Nix won’t be apologizing for where the Broncos are at, even if not all the victories have been pretty.

“It’s not easy pulling out these tough wins, but we’re resilient and we continue to do it. If that’s what it takes, we’re going to continue to go through it and find ways to stack wins,” Nix said.

Next up for the Broncos is the NFC contending Packers, so Bo Nix and company will need to continue to find ways to keep the good times rolling.
