Pritchard & Cecil – 03/05/2018 – Pritchard & Cecil live in studio! Monday’s show the guys talk about the Kirk Cousins sweepstakes, if Nick Foles will be traded this off-season and some of how the quarterbacks looked out at the combine yesterday.
Hour one Pritchard & Cecil talk about the Broncos quarterback position and the latest with some of the big free agent quarterback including Kirk Cousins. Pritchard & Cecil duke it out over Kirk Cousins. The guys debate with each other if Cousins is worth signing for the Broncos. The guys also debate how much money it would take for the Broncos to sign someone like Cousins. The guys also debate and look at some other free agent possibilities at quarterback including Case Keenum. If The Broncos land Case Keenum, does this affect their draft? The guys talk about the Broncos draft plans if they were to land someone like a Case Keenum. The guys break that down and much more!
The guys then look at some other prospects that will be taken in the top ten of the draft this year. Is Saquon Barkley good enough to be the first overall pick? Pritchard & Cecil talk about Barkley’s game and if he is worth being the number one overall pick.
Hour two Pritchard & Cecil talk about if the Broncos are truly out of the Kirk Cousins sweepstakes or if there still in it. Mike Pritchard talks about how the Broncos are still in on Cousins and that Denver as a city will be selling point for Kirk Cousins. Cecil Lammey agrees and gives his thoughts on why the Broncos are still in on it with Kirk Cousins. The guys also talk about what the price tag for Cousins would look like once again. Mike Pritchard explains why if the Broncos go all in with Cousins that they will have a hard time with signing other free agent players. Cecil Lammey breaks down how his does think the Broncos could still sign other free agents possibly if the Broncos were to sign Kirk Cousins.
For the rest of hour two the guys talk about the Broncos tight end position and if Trey Burton should be at the top of the Broncos list this off-season. The guys get into whether or not the Broncos should wait for Jake Butt to come around too or not to start him at tight end.
Hour three Pritchard & Cecil talk about some of the quarterbacks from out at the combine and which guys impressed and which guys failed to impress. Pritchard & Cecil talk about the Josh Rosen not having a good day throwing the ball out at the combine. The fellas talk about if this might hurt his draft stock. The guys discuss whether or not that would be a good or bad thing for the Broncos at number five overall. Mike Pritchard explains why his bigger concern is that Rosen didn’t look good throwing the football. Cecil Lammey also gives his thoughts on why it should be seen as a good thing for the Broncos since it’s looking like the Giants may pass on taking a quarterback at number two overall.
For the rest of the final hour the guys get into some discussion about Eagles quarterback Nick Foles. The guys get into what the asking price would be and why the Eagles are thinking of a trade now. Pritchard & Cecil talk about if the Broncos should think of offering something for Nick Foles.
