Another quarterback is officially off the market

The Dallas Cowboys and franchise quarterback Dak Prescott have officially agreed to a deal, according to NFL Networks’ Ian Rapoport.

According to NFL Insider Adam Schefter, the Cowboys are giving Prescott a four-year, $160 million deal with a record $126 million guaranteed.

Prescott will receive a $66 million signing bonus and $75 million in year one.

The announced agreement with Prescott means he will not charge $37.7 million against the cap as if he had played on the franchise tag.

Schefter also reported that the long-term deal includes a no-trade and no tag clause. The Cowboys still are placing the franchise tag on Prescott on Tuesday as a procedural matter, meaning they cannot tag him again in the future.
