Deion Sanders was fighting his own battle while his Colorado Buffaloes took on the TCU Horned Frogs on Saturday.
Coach Prime revealed after the game that he suspects the blood clots that have impacted his lower body came back during the 35-21 CU loss.
“I think I got more blood clots. Man, it don’t make sense,” Sanders said after the game to the media. “I’m hurting like crazy. I got the doctor’s appointment on Monday to see what it is. So, that’s what’s going on. I’m not getting blood to my leg. That’s why my leg is throbbing.”
Sanders was seen with his shoe off, sitting on a bucket during the fourth quarter of the game.

Prime has dealt with blood clots in the past. He had surgery on his groin in 2023 to remove some tissue and has a bunch of medical issues with his feet in the last few years that have resulted in some amputations to his toes.
Sanders was hit with a cancer diagnosis this spring, which resulted in the removal of his bladder.
One of the reasons Sanders picked Boulder when he moved on from Jackson State was because of the high-level medical facilities the campus has next to Folsom Field.
Colorado hosts Iowa State next week and then has a bye week. They dropped to 2-4 this season with Saturday’s loss to TCU.

Time for Sanders to claim that he can’t continue due to his health. In reality he is so far out of his league I actually feel sorry for the Colorado fans and alumni. They are stuck with a self proclaimed false prophet. It’s all about the narrative with the Sander’s family. They have lost control of the narrative they are trying to sell. Shilo, actually lost money trying out. His fine for punching the other team’s player and was ejected from the game and fined more than he made as a free agent. Chip off the old block. Still owes $20+~ M for assault. Deion’s “grown” QB is a joke. Two tickets for putting others in danger by driving recklessly. Skipped court. Then his strange interview? What a joke. And Daddy gave a thumbs up. This family has no self awareness whatsoever. Deion will claim he can’t continue due to medical conditions. He’s just not smart enough to be a coach. His ego gets in the way and he refuses to learn or change. The Kamala Harris of football. Zero substance exhibited by either one. And how can a team that markets itself as Black America’s team hurl obscene insults at another “underrepresented” group like the Mormons? Fined $50k for derogatory chants on national television. They want to be treated with respect. Yet the buffalo’s show they are a bunch of classless losers. Bye Deion
