FORT WORTH, Texas — The Colorado Buffaloes are hitting the road this week to take on the TCU Horned Frogs in another tough Big 12 matchup. They had a chance to get their first conference win of the season against BYU a week ago, but squandered a 14-point lead at home as the Cougars walked out victorious. The schedule isn’t getting any easier for Coach Prime and the Buffs, and they need to dig deep to earn some victories over the next month, starting with Saturday’s contest.
The Horned Frogs have started the season 3-1, and were ranked No. 24 in the AP poll before they suffered a last-minute defeat on the road against Arizona State last week. Quarterback Josh Hoover has established himself as one of the best in the conference, and is leading a team that’s hungry to get back on a winning course.
Here’s everything you need to know for Saturday’s clash, including the TV schedule, odds, injuries, and what to watch for.

COLORADO VS. TCU SERIES HISTORY
The all-time series is tied at 1-1 after the two programs played a home-and-home in 2022 and 2023. The Horned Frogs won the first matchup in Boulder, 38-13, as they were too much for that Karl Dorrell-led Buffs team to handle. The second meeting was arguably the most iconic game of the Coach Prime era, as the Buffs took down TCU on the road, 45-42. Shedeur Sanders had 510 yards and four touchdowns, Travis Hunter showed the world what he can do on both sides of the football, and the Buffs braved the sweltering Texas heat to take down the same team that played in the National Championship game the year before.
