Aaron Gordon makes NBA history with buzzer-beating jam for Nuggets in Game 4

The Denver Nuggets beat the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 4 on Saturday, 101-99, thanks to an Aaron Gordon putback jam as time expired.

The Nuggets blew a 22-point lead in the fourth quarter, but a big Nikola Jokic shot, followed by the Gordon’s dunk, was enough for the Nuggets to win. Gordon’s dunk actually answered an Ivica Zubac tip-in from moments earlier that tied the game at 99.

That’s when Joker hoisted another shot and this one missed everything but found Gordon.

Gordon had 14 points, six rebounds and five assists in the game, as he played a great partner to Nikola Jokic’s 36-point, 21-rebound, 8-assist performance.

Gordon had the two biggest moments of the game, also getting into a scuffle with James Harden earlier that sparked the Nuggets to a huge third quarter.

The series is now tied at 2-2, headed back to Denver for Game 5 on Tuesday. Teams that go up 3-1 are 187-9 in NBA history, whereas teams that win Game 1 and 4 to make it even are 14-5.
