The Denver Nuggets will travel south of the border next season, facing the Indiana Pacers in a regular-season game at Arena CDMX on Nov. 7, the NBA announced Thursday.

The game will be the league’s 35th in Mexico since 1992, the most of any country outside the United States and Canada. It will take place during the week of Dia de Muertos celebrations for the third straight year, with the holiday theme woven into a specially designed court and in-arena fan activations.

It will be the Nuggets‘ second game played in Mexico and first time they’ve played overseas since they played also the Pacers in London in 2017.

It’s a battle of two recent Finals teams in the Nuggets (2023 winners) and the Pacers (2025.)

“We are thrilled that the Nuggets were chosen to compete in The Mexico City Game next season,” KSE President of Team and Media Operations Kevin Demoff said in a news statement. “As a team led by two electrifying stars born outside of the U.S., we are honored anytime we can showcase Nuggets basketball to NBA fans around the world as well as continue to grow KSE’s global footprint.”

The game will air live in Mexico on ESPN and across Latin America, reaching more than 200 countries and territories. It just goes to show how much the Nuggets profile has increased since Jokic began his ascension.
