Connor Joe earned this week’s Smashburger “Smashed It” Play of the Week for his home run against the Cubs on Sunday afternoon at Wrigley Field.

The Rockies were leading Chicago 3-0 in the second inning when Joe came to the plate. He launched a line drive to left field, barely clearing the wall and into the bleachers. Rockies play-by-play announcer Drew Goodman called it a “Wrigley Field” home run, which it was. Still, it’s nice to see Joe tally another homer, as he’s had a slow second half of the season. Colorado went on to win the game 4-3.
