Brian Serven earned this week’s Smashburger “Smashed It” Play of the Week for his home run against the Dodgers on Sunday afternoon at Coors Field.

The Rockies were trailing Los Angeles 2-0 in the third inning when Serven came to the plate. His drive to the left field bleachers got the Rockies back in the game, trimming the deficit to 2-1. It was Serven’s fourth home run of the season. Colorado’s backup catcher provided one of the only highlights of the day though, as the Rockies fell to the Dodgers 7-3.
